Junior Data Scientist (Personalization & ML)
EU

At TrackBee, our next wave of product development is all about personalization. We’re building smarter, more adaptive experiences for e-commerce brands and data is at the core of everything we do.

To help us get there, we’re looking for a Junior Data Scientist with strong fundamentals, high curiosity, and the ambition to grow fast. We care far more about talent, problem-solving ability, and mindset than years of experience.

A bit about us

What started as a small team with a big idea has grown into an international company of 25+ driven, talented people and we’re only at the beginning. At TrackBee, we move fast, take ownership, and build products that make a real impact for thousands of Shopify brands and marketing agencies every day.

Next year is a turning point for us. Our goal is bold: to become the number one company in Europe in our category, while accelerating exponential growth in the US. Data and personalization will be the engine behind this next chapter, and we’re building the foundations right now.

This is a rare moment to join a fast-growing company at exactly the right time when decisions matter, learning is constant, and your work can shape the future of the product and the business. If you’re hungry to grow, take responsibility, and learn as much as possible while building something meaningful, you’ll feel right at home here.

If this sounds like you, or if you know someone who might be a great fit, we’d love to connect.

What you’ll work on

You’ll be part of the team shaping how data and machine learning power the next generation of TrackBee products. Your work will include:

  • Feature engineering from real-world e-commerce data
  • Supporting model development for personalization and prediction use cases
  • Analyzing model performance and experiment results
  • Translating data insights into clear recommendations for product and engineering teams
  • Learning best practices for production-ready ML systems

You won’t be alone, this role comes with strong mentorship and external advisors from Silicon Valley to Europa.

What we’re looking for

We’re flexible on background, but ideally you have:

  • A Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related field
  • Strong foundations in statistics, probability, and machine learning
  • Experience (academic or practical) with Python and common data/ML libraries
  • Curiosity, ownership, and a strong desire to learn and improve
  • The ability to communicate insights clearly, even when things are complex

Prior industry experience is a plus, but not required. We’re excited about people with strong projects, research, or hands-on learning experience.

Working setup

  • Fully remote, no location restrictions
    • Multiple offices in the Netherlands (Utrecht & Enschede)
  • Working hours should overlap reasonably with the CEST timezone
