What is TrackBee Insights?

TrackBee Insights is conversational marketing analytics for Shopify. Ask any question about your store data in plain English, across Meta, Google, Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, TikTok and Pinterest at the same time, inside Claude or ChatGPT. Built on TrackBee’s server-side, first-party tracking layer.

How is this different from the Meta MCP?

The Meta MCP only sees Meta. Insights sees Meta plus Google, Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, TikTok and Pinterest in one conversation. The moment a question crosses platforms, which channel actually drove this revenue, are Meta and Google double-counting, where am I losing customers, only Insights can answer it.

How is this different from Triple Whale, Northbeam, Polar or Hyros?

Those are attribution dashboards built on top of platform APIs. €500–€2,000+/month, another dashboard, another attribution model to learn. Insights replaces that workflow: server-side, first-party data captured at source; no separate dashboard; plain-language questions with the data behind every answer. For most Shopify advertisers, the dedicated attribution tool is no longer needed.

Why not just paste my data into ChatGPT?

You can, until you can’t. Is TrackBee Insights a replacement for TrackBee Tracking?

No. TrackBee Insights is a separate product, built on top of TrackBee Tracking. Tracking captures and enriches your data server-side. Insights lets you ask it questions. You need both: Tracking is required to run Insights.

Which AI tools does TrackBee Insights work with?

TrackBee Insights is built on the open Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard. At launch we support Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI). You pick the AI, we bring the data.

Do I need a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan?

Yes, separately. Insights connects to your AI assistant via MCP. You bring the AI subscription (Claude Pro/Team or ChatGPT Plus/Business); free AI plans don’t support custom tools. Most ecommerce teams already have one.

Why is the plugin called “TrackBee MCP” in Claude?

That’s the engineering identifier for the connector itself, the technical plug-in name in your AI tool. The product is TrackBee Insights; MCP just describes the protocol it’s built on.

Does TrackBee Insights change my campaigns automatically?

No. Insights is read-only and advisory by design. It surfaces what to do, scale/pause shortlists, fatigue alerts, saturation warnings, cross-channel attribution, but you decide what to action. Nothing gets pushed, paused, or published without you doing it yourself.

Is this for agencies or brands?

Both. DTC brands running their own ads use Insights to make weekly scaling decisions faster. Agencies managing multiple Shopify clients use it to switch between stores in one conversation and produce client-ready insights without per-account dashboard work.

How long does setup take?

Is my data safe?
